Boundless Love

And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord. - Romans 8:38-39

What an AWESOME bit of knowledge. While we may choose to walk away from Daddy…NOTHING will ever make Him walk away from us. Nothing can separate us from the love of God. He loves us with a profound love…a love that no human could ever comprehend with natural thinking. God’s love for us is boundless and without end!

I love the part that says…not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love

Woot! Hear that devil??? You have NO power to stop my Daddy God from loving and caring for me!

When in doubt…

But I did something really bad…

NOTHING can separate you from God’s love!

But I keep making the same mistakes…I just know He will give up on me…eventually….

NOTHING can separate you from God’s love!

I am not worthy…

NOTHING can separate you from God’s love!

But…

Er…but NOTHING!

NOTHING can separate you from God’s love!

Daddy LOVES you! You are the apple of His eye! He loves you so intimately that He knows the NUMBER OF HAIRS on your head!!! Grab hold of this knowledge and you may just find that victorious living is not so far out of reach!

Over-Did It…

Be patient, then, brothers, until the Lord’s coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop and how patient he is for the autumn and spring rains. You too, be patient and stand firm, because the Lord’s coming is near. – James 5:7-8

I have been working out for over a week now and yesterday I decided to do the extra long run. Big mistake. LOL! Now my calves are killing me! I had the weekend off, so I *should* have done the one long run yesterday, then two of them today and THEN the Island Lap (extra long run) tomorrow. I wound up unable to do any exercise today! AH!

It stinks when you get impatient…Makes me realize patience matters even in the little things…How am I so sure. The calves don’t lie baby! LOL!

I may have to lighten up…BUT…will NOT give up!!! :D

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. – Galatians 6:9

O’ Dark-Thirty Has it’s Perks…

Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised. - Proverbs 31:30

Our inner beauty is what is the most attractive quality in a woman. We can turn hearts when we have the love of Christ pouring out from the depths of our souls. Making God the priority in our life and falling in love with Him above all else is what will bring the kind of “Non-fleeting” beauty that the Proverbs 31 woman has. This kind of woman is praiseworthy!

Does that mean we ignore our outer appearance? Of course not! And that is what brings me to this post…

I have been in an on again off again battle with losing the final pounds protruding from my thighs and buttock region. I have the right method, it is a matter of getting back ON the wagon and REMAINING there! LOL! Well, I now have MAJOR motivation…

A few weeks ago, I put out feelers to find a sponsor to an upcoming conference in Nashville, Tenn. called Blissdom. I prayed about it. Left my desire with God. In less than a day, I got a reply of “YES, I will sponsor you!” I was ecstatic to say the least and thus began my need to remove the unwanted poundage…

You see, pictures upon pictures upon pictures are taken at these types of events and there is NO way on God’s green earth I am going to be “the fat lady” in the picture! ROFL! Nope. Not this girl!

So, Monday began my quest to be at least 30 pounds lighter by mid January.

O’ Dark-Thirty is an expression my good friend Nancy uses when referring to getting up at the crack of dawn…I think it is hilarious and stole if for this post!

How can there possibly be perks to getting up before the birds, sun and sane people??

  1. It is ever so quiet. No constant questions and “don’t touch mes” filling the air. Just me and the dark house.
  2. I am able to work out on my Wii Fit without feeling self conscience.
  3. I feel better for the day.
  4. I have already lost 2.5 pounds and LOVE the way I get ONLY encouragement from my Wii People! LOL!

Yes, it is only a few perks…however, those skinny jeans are calling my name and no pillow is going to hold me back!

Thanks for reading!

In Him,
